Dancing returns to Wodnik! On October 10, we meet in a Cuban atmosphere

"We really should arrange to go out together sometime" — if you said that recently, here’s a plan. On October 10 at 7 PM, join us at Hotel Wodnik restaurant in Giżycko for a dance night with Yaremi Kordos and Juanky Leon. Enjoy dinner, live music, and a chance to spend the evening together.

In autumn, we return to our dance gatherings. Along with them, the Cuban duo we hosted last year comes back to Wodnik.

Familiar voices, Cuban rhythms

Those who danced with us at Yaremi and Juanky's last show know why we invited them back. They connect well with the audience and can get everyone moving. We look forward to another meeting—both with the artists and with you at the tables and on the dance floor.

If you don't know them yet, here’s a brief introduction.

Yaremi Kordos is from Havana. She came to Poland in 2004 to sing with the Salsa Tropical José Torres orchestra. She planned to stay one year, but life had other plans. She settled permanently and has shared the music of her native island here for years. She talks about this journey in a Yaremi Kordos interview.

Juanky Leon also has a rich musical background. He was the vocalist for the Cuban orchestra Klimax, and Polish audiences know him from concerts and projects focused on Cuban music.

After the summer season comes evenings when we can meet in a more local circle. We invite residents of Giżycko and nearby, our regular guests, and those looking for a place to go out together.

You can come as a couple, arrange with friends, or gather a larger group. No need to know salsa steps or have taken dance lessons. It’s a dance night—we come to be together and have fun.

Dinner and dancing—what's included in

The participation fee is 200 PLN per person. Included:

• a served dinner,
• an additional hot dish during the evening,
• a bottle of vodka or wine per couple,
• coffee, tea, and water.

We meet October 10 at 7:00 PM at Hotel Wodnik’s restaurant in the center of Giżycko.
